Jamie Junger’s joyful performing energy stems from his Nova Scotia roots—family parties filled with music and teenage jam sessions with touring artists. His songwriting, however, is uniquely his own.

Blending folk, reggae, pop, and rock, Jamie tackles themes of justice, home, and the natural world with wit and insight, while also delighting audiences with playful songs like “Underwear” and “Fishin’ for Pickles.”

After an early career with bands The Wingnuts and Bob’s Your Uncle—sharing stages with artists like Billy Bragg, Sarah McLachlan, and the Tragically Hip—Jamie returned to Nova Scotia to launch his solo work. His albums include the ECMA-nominated Fishin’ for Pickles, co-written with his daughter Sadie.

Now with six solo albums, Jamie performs across the province—solo, with Washboard Dave, or with his band, The Jungernauts—always connecting with audiences through his uplifting, engaging style where singing along and dancing are part of the show.
